Here I plan to write posts about programming language design and all the things I find interesting.

• At a board game table playing Spirit Island or Shards of Infinity
• Try-harding in video games I love like Elden Ring or Celeste
• Helping contribute to Typst, focusing on math syntax, type systems, and usability
• Enjoying science fiction or non-fiction books and graphic novels

I care a lot about inclusivity and equity in online spaces around my interests, and I hope to be a positive influence where I can. My thinking on inclusivity and community-building has been affected by my time (Spring '25) at the Recurse Center, the coolest programming space in NYC. I really like their Self Directives: Work at the edge of your abilities, Build your volitional muscles, and Learn generously. Learning generously is exactly what I want to do with this site.
